I reached out to Gina with a personal goal in mind, to complete my first marathon! At the time, I was training and running to build up 26.219 miles (to be exact) and needed some guidance and motivation to get there. Gina first caught my attention from the “Chris & G Travels” YouTube Page. She is always featured running for exercise and has completed many marathons herself. When I discovered she started her own company, Running Wild Wellness, this was who I wanted to train with and get nutritional information from to complete my goal. From the beginning to end, Gina was very helpful in recommending a diet plan specially crafted for me, provided videos, proper stretching, tips, and keeping state of mind. My top three goals upon starting the program were to have more confidence in myself, love my body and get into a healthier lifestyle/state of mind. Gina was able to help me work towards these goals with bi-weekly face-to-face check-ins, as well as check-ins in between sessions based on my goals at the time; this really is amazing and shows she cares because I was getting texts every morning of reminders of goals and encouragement to work harder for them. Gina not only encourages you and guides you but gives you the tools so that you can also accomplish these things on your own. The biggest, tangible change I have noticed since beginning the program was my mindset with food. I went from eating what tasted good to satisfy cravings to being mindful in what I fueled my body with keeping a balanced diet thanks to Gina’s guidance. I would describe Gina’s coaching as hands on, thoughtful, fun and knowledgeable (she always has the best handouts I still have to this day). I would recommend her to family, friends, any and all who are looking to make a positive change in their life in a healthy way! Gina is an amazing, positive person whose smile and laugh can brighten anyone’s day!
When I first started my wellness journey with Gina, I struggled with anxiety when away from home, stomach issues associated with my anxiety, mood swings, fatigue, inflammation and pain in my knee and shoulder. After a few sessions I was able to control my anxiety completely, which relieved my stomach issues significantly, just by following some of Gina's suggestions. By changing a few things in my diet and lifestyle, my pain and fatigue were gone! Gina’s positivity was so contagious! This helped me change my view on life and my mood completely turned around. This is what I would have to say was my biggest change. The advice and especially the encouragement from Gina was key in all the changes I had in the last 6 months. She is AMAZING!
